It is crazy to think that it has been two years since we hosted our first wedding at City Brew Hall! When we first gave Emma and Aaron a tour we were under construction, and we remember vividly walking cautiously on the rotted floor to show them what would eventually be The Hall.
Thankfully they had a vivid imagination like us and despite no roof, booked with us for their rehearsal dinner and reception.
Emma wanted the rehearsal dinner to reflect Aaron, but did not want it to feel too country. With that guidance, we met with Aaron’s parents and planned a few surprise touches that would accomplish a cozy feel with a touch of farming.
We will never forget Aaron’s Grandma who gave the most amazing toast at the rehearsal dinner. She was hilarious!
After many sleepless nights in anticipation of this day, we woke up to beautiful huge snowflakes that seriously felt like we were in a snow globe.
We knew that City Brew Hall was a beautiful backdrop, but until we were able to really see it action with Sophie Grace photography capturing Emma and Aaron against the brick with the natural lighting, we didn’t realize how breathtaking it would be.
Emma wanted simple greenery on the tables, and she chose our favorite, sprouted eucalyptus mixed with our anthropoligie candle holders. Her floral was gorgeous courtesy of Belinda Sletterdahl from Blossoms & Bridal.
Emma and Aaron’s head table was down the center of the room, and we LOVED how this made the couple the center of attention. It also was our first opportunity to really deck out the head table and that has become a Hallmark of a CBH wedding.
After years of planning and renovating CBH, the moment of these two walking in as husband and wife brought tears to our eyes. To be able to walk alongside these two throughout the planning process and see it all come to fruition was a life changing experience and we thank them for allowing us to learn along the way with them!!!
